Well I am doing my best to keep the humans entertained.
They are not content with just taking me for walks and swimming at the beach.
So I have been forced to reveal my secrets and teach them the art of kayaking.
They did not do too bad, but unfortunately they have the kayaking bug now!
All that kayak instruction tired me out, so I rented them a car and sent them off again to explore the island.
First stop was the capital of the island Castries.
They loved the brightly coloured road side vendors.
These road side vendors, not only sell food, but services including hair dressing.
But the thing Castries is most famous for is the fruit and vegetable market.
Here you can buy a huge selection of produce.
All markets have to have a coconut water vendor.
After spending the morning topping up the larder, the humans headed over to the Atlantic east side of the island in search of a non-touristy natural waterfall.
They headed down little roads and into the jungle surrounding the huge Errand Estate and banana plantation near Dennery.
They then trekked down a forested path to the river.
But well worth it to find this natural jem.
It was especially great, as we had it to our selves!
Then everyone had to get under the waterfall.
After their refreshing swims they hiked back out to head for a cold beer overlooking Dennery and the bay.
I was hoping that the island excursion would tire the humans out, but no such luck. They had to interrupt my napping schedule with a sailing trip.
My Nanna is a apprehensive sailor. And this is proof she did it.
We all sailed south to the small bay of Anse Cochon for a BBQ lunch. We were entertained by the hard working fishermen.
I did not get pictures of the whole sequence, but they started by searching the bay for fish using their snorkels and masks.
Once the snorkelers located a school of fish they surrounded it and signaled the men on the boat to lay down the nets around them.
As the nets are slowly brought in the snorkelers freed them from snagging rocks below and slapped the surface above to keep the fish in. At the very end they jumped aboard and helped bring in the last of the nets.
All a lot of work as we sat on our butts and ate our hamburgers!
Along with all this kayaking, trekking and sailing they have still kept up the SUNDOWNER tradition.
And I have included a sunset for you to enjoy a SUNDOWNER with us.
