The human’s and I are still ‘hanging out’ anchored off Hog Island on the south shores of Grenada.
The bay here is very sheltered. This makes it an ideal spot for the human’s to do boat maintenance, for me to play on the beaches and for the cruising kids to horse around.
To give cruising parents a break they do a Kids Camp on the island in the afternoon. http://www.grenadakidscamp.webs.com/
When the heat gets too much in the afternoon for the humans to continue with boat jobs we all head over to the shade of the island and play dominoes.
If all this is not sociable enough, there is also Sunday Social. This is traditionally the day local families come to the beach.
On Hog Island locals and cruisers mingle together and even let the cruisers in on a few recipes.
If a BBQ on the beach Is not your style, why not try a dingy concert.
They anchor off a barge with a bar and a band and everyone ties their dinghies up to it.
Everyone brings drinks and food.
Even well behaved boat dogs are welcome.
These cruisers are a crazy lot!
Carnival is next…wait until you see what the humans got up to!!!!!!

Quinny tell Dad I like his new haircut. Just come back from a week in Menorca with kids and family. We were on a cliff top and saw lots of “Spirit of Argo” lookalikes. My two loved getting a wave back from those on board. Myself and Laura are setting off to Turkey today on our own for a week so here’s for a good week. Hope you won at the domino’s…. Tony, Laura Gemma and Harry..x
