We sailed across the Sea of Abaco from Great Abaco Island to Man Of War Cay.
This small cay has a harbour and settlement that is famous historically for boat building. They still build boats here and now have a small pleasant Marina in their harbour.
Our draft made anchoring off the beach north of the harbour a more sensible choice. We also choose to walk into the settlement, rather than dingy along the coast. Glad we did as the pleasant small cottages on the island are beautifully kept with manicured gardens.
I will just leave you with a load of pictures and you can judge the place for yourself.

Love the post boxes, hope you didn’t post any post cards!!!!
No, I did not post and post cards. Nor did I run away from the alligator.
What a beautiful place….you folks are on a memory for a lifetime journey…enjoying all your stories and pictures…
Sorting pictures, finding internet and writing the text does take quite a long time. But it is the only way I can ‘take’ family and friends along with me. Glad you are enjoying it.
