SAILING AROUND THE WORLD WITH SPIRIT OF ARGO

Bahamas, Exumas, Great Exuma Island – Company arrives and the humans celebrate 20 years of marrage

Well it was bound to happen.

As soon as we leave the United States things start to break.  First one of my humans had to ‘pay through the nose’ to replace a loose filling and my camera died.  Of course it waited until our company was on their flight to break so there is no way to replace it.

Remember we have no address to have things mailed to, and if we found a local, it will be stuck in Bahamian customs for weeks before we get it.  We have places to go and deadlines to make, and company to entertain.

I quickly got Roy into the swing of Bahamian culture by introducing him to ‘Rake and Scrape’ music at a local bar and into boat life by dragging him out on the kayaks.

Today is the human’s 20th wedding anniversary and funnily enough Roy was part of the wedding party.

Andrew, Roy, Cain and Steve. The 'boys' side of the wedding party all back together during Cain's visit of the UK this summer.

Roy even brought an old picture from the ‘summer’ wedding of the humans.

They do not look like this anymore.
They do not look like this anymore.

Thought you all would have a laugh at this one.

Weather dictates we use the fair winds and seas today to move the boat north into the Cays.  There are lots to explore over the next 2 weeks of Roy’s visit, but we may not be able to share it with you, internet reception permitting, until we get back to George Town again.

Talk to you guys soon.
