Well it was bound to happen.
As soon as we leave the United States things start to break. First one of my humans had to ‘pay through the nose’ to replace a loose filling and my camera died. Of course it waited until our company was on their flight to break so there is no way to replace it.
Remember we have no address to have things mailed to, and if we found a local, it will be stuck in Bahamian customs for weeks before we get it. We have places to go and deadlines to make, and company to entertain.
I quickly got Roy into the swing of Bahamian culture by introducing him to ‘Rake and Scrape’ music at a local bar and into boat life by dragging him out on the kayaks.
Today is the human’s 20th wedding anniversary and funnily enough Roy was part of the wedding party.
Roy even brought an old picture from the ‘summer’ wedding of the humans.
Thought you all would have a laugh at this one.
Weather dictates we use the fair winds and seas today to move the boat north into the Cays. There are lots to explore over the next 2 weeks of Roy’s visit, but we may not be able to share it with you, internet reception permitting, until we get back to George Town again.
Talk to you guys soon.

OMG Quinny you nearly got me into trouble on the train. A rather large lady spilt her coffee down her at the exact same time I saw the young wedding pic sounds l laughed out loud, she thought I was laughing at her spillage, not good but funny. I have screen saved the picture and will send to some of the SIS guys to amuse them. Many congratulations on your wedding anniversary guys, xx
Glad you had a laugh at my human’s expense. Sorry I almost ggot you in trouble. Keep smiling.
Happy Anniversary you guys, great wedding photo !
Happy Anniversary! Such babies at only 20 years. 🙂
Wow… 20 years since the wedding in the Mexican restaurant followed by the ill-fated winter honeymoon. Your humans spent their first married night sleeping in a minivan…. a sign to tight sleeping quarters to come!
Happy anniversary you two! You’re still young at heart.
Love kim and the gang
Hello to all… My goodness has it really been 20 years since you two were married…hard to believe isn’t it ? We will be married 56 years in June…and to think our trailer was the ” Honeymoon Suite!” lol We still miss the trailer times but there comes a time, that’s for sure. Nice to see you had some of your wedding party visiting with you.. but your camera could have picked a better time to crash for sure..We are in the middle of a full blown deep freeze – 33 C this morning with the wind chill./..car wouldn’t start…but on the bright side the sun is shining brightly…..hope you have enjoyed your time with friends and we will be in touch soon…..thanks for your posts..i look forward to them very much ….Hugs Rose.
20 years goes by so quickly!
