Well there’s hopping we have better luck this time.
After what the humans dragged me though last time, it can’t get much worse. I should not say that incase I jinks the boat.
The humans have worked hard to fix the boat this week. The bow roller, alternator and auto-helm should all be ‘ship shape’ for the passage ahead.
Normally it would be depressing stuck down below with repairs. But at least the weather has been so horribly rainy the humans have not felt ‘too’ sorry for themselves. They are far from Marine Engineers, so the repairs took a bit longer than I predicted. But we should be good to go now.
The humans have changed the route they plan to go now. Another cruiser (Bill of of “Out of the Bag”) gave them positive feed back and the way points he used last for an inside passage called the Miskito Channel. It will cut off a days journey east at the start of the passage, and pass along the Nicaragua coast going south. You exit out the bottom and turn south east to pass by San Andres. From there you continue south east until you hit the San Blas Islands.
We will try to keep you informed of our progress as we go.
It will still be via the radio (SSB radio) so there will not be any pictures for a while. Wish me luck AGAIN!
