The humans found the time to get their boat name painted on the outside of The Sail Loft finally. They have also set a date to leave for the Pacific.
IT WOULD BE TRUELY FRIGHTNING.
At least the female human is retiring from her work as the Sail Maker here at Shelter Bay Marina this month. So I will have both my humans working hard to get the ‘check list’ of jobs done and sea trials completed. Last few weeks of ‘walkies’ on land for me. YIPS!

Lovely to get your news again – not seen anything for a while. Much love xxx
Sorry about the ‘lack of updates’. Working to top up the kiddy before heading off to the Pacific. The human’s had very little to report besides going to work in The Sail Loft or getting boat jobs done. Thought that would be a bit boring for everyone. To make up for it, we are headed off on an epic Pacific crossing…right off the bat…and taking everyone to the islands of French Polynesia. Hope we find you some internet to send you updates.
nice job guys, we’ll be keeping an eye on you!
Hope you guys have made your template and/or have an idea what you are going to paint at all those famous stops on the Atlantic islands.
Happy to hear plans are back on. Miss you guys.
HAPPY EASTER

Looking forward to your trip reports and updates.
Best of luck!
Thank you for the best wishes. Lots for the humans to do before we set off. Not sure how good the internet coverage will be once we set off. We will do our best to share with you.
Good luck with your Pacific crossing, you will have a wonderful experience
About the Pacific crossing. Our longest one yet. I have to admit, I am a little nervous. Was very bored on the last week of the Atlantic crossing and this one will be much longer!
We took 25 days between Galápagos and Hiva Oa following Jimmy Cornell’s recommended route, all downwind sailing with frequent squalls which made it interesting ……..seas were too big and rolly to fish. Wasn’t time to be bored…LOL
We are skipping the stop at the Galapagos. The Galapagos Islands are nether dog or cruising boat friendly. Everyone who left there boat behind and flew over had a much better time sight seeing. Our ‘straight across’ trip will take a bit longer. We had a very ‘rough’ ride across the Atlantic. Similar it sounds to your Pacific crossing, but without the frequent squalls. It was the very rough seas that made doing anything on the boat difficult especially in the last week. That is when I was very bored and ready to get off. Not sure how we are going to feel about doing that again, but much longer this time? We will just have to see.
Excellent Spirit of Argo artwork! It even has your paws on it. I hope they both enjoy their Sail Maker retirement party.
Good luck to you all on your onward voyage to French Polynesia.
I left a few paw prints in paint trying to get up there to paint it. But all in all, I am a very artistic dog. Thanks for the well wishes for retirement and the journey ahead.
Good luck guys…
